Eating out again

A guy came to clear our gutters and Neil sat facing him across our garden table, mask under his nose, so they could drink tea and chat. I wish he wouldn't do it where I get to watch.

We ate out but that at least was safe because there was decent spacing between us and the only other couple. When we arrived we found that the main garden at the back was shut, which we didn't know till we got there. The waitstaff went to seat us indoors, even though we'd booked an outdoor table, but in the end they let us sit at the front. None of the staff wore masks.

The view is from where I was sitting - plenty of fresh air but also constant road noise from cars passing at 40mph.

I am utterly worn out, probably from stress but also from noise and being blown around by the wind. No exercise today, or clarinet. Let's hope tomorrow is better.
