A day in the life

For the first time in a long time I've worked at the theatre in Kalmar where the annual "revy", review in english perhaps, had its restart. Normally, before 2020 the revy starts on new years eve and goes on into February. The show is reviewing the year that was, in a light, humouristic way  where spoken sketches are mixed with song and music. The revy is a big thing around here, visited by "the common people" who normally never goes to the theatre during the rest of the year.
Because of restrictions the people running the revy could only do a few of their performances and those was only allowed a few in the audience. The revy company almost went bankrupt, it's expensive running a big show like this. Last Thursday they could start over, this was their first full weekend with four performances. They will go into march to give the people who ordered tickets their moneys worth. The company is very good at what they are doing, it's not my kind of thing but I can appreciate a good job well done when I see one.
