It's been a while

What a lovely sunset - we've not seen one of these beauties for a while.

The weather was kind and we were able to play golf this morning. The course was the wettest it's been over this past few months, no doubt because the gales hadn't any hope of drying the ground as they were full of sleet/hail/rain! We still had fun though :-)

Back home to a cheerful pair and a fairly constructive sofa+sewing+Winter Olympics afternoon. There's something both soothing and nailbiting - watching the slow build of tension with the curling or the madness of slalom skiing in a blizzard. Love it!

I've managed to find a dogsitter for our planned holiday later in the year so had a long conversation with her. I'm very much hoping this works out as she sounds a lovely lady and we'd all be so very much happier if Berry could stay at home. I'm not a fan at all of kennels but asking a friend to look after our nutter is a bit much at this stage!
