Took the dogs for a run with the club this morning and they did well. Darwin still needs to learn not to stop and sniff at times and to keep running along the path but he didn’t start anything with dogs this time. Stopped off to do the shopping on the way back to reduce the amount of time the dogs would be in with the cleaner. The cleaner wanted to say hello to Darwin when we got back and he was well behaved this time. There is hope they will become friends. JD came over ready for the game and we met AR at the house before heading over on the tram. It wasn’t as wet as we were expecting and we managed to get a pastie and beer in the dry while watching the Ireland game on the big screen. Met up with a guy from work I was talking to on Friday when I went to the loo, what are the chances. Game was good but tight even though England had a lot of possession in the first half they never looked like scoring and seem to run out of ideas all game. The last 20 minutes were almost unbearable for JD as Scotland hung on to win, which was deserved really. Walked back through the drizzle to get chips for dinner. Nice night in playing a couple of games.
