Drummer boy

I did a Covid test because I’ve felt rough all weekend. Negative, luckily, as I didn’t want to declare tomorrow to my new employers that I was sick and going to have to isolate on Day 1.

This capulana, a traditional Mozambican cloth worn as a garment, adorns the table in my flat. It has images of a man ferociously drumming in tribal garb, and I’ve not looked at it closely until today.
