It's A Thin Line

The sloping angle of the patches of snow makes me feel like the image is tipping over to the right. Bright sun picked out the white line more intensely than the surrounding snow. It reminded me of the song by The Pretenders.

It seems to wind it's way through the patches as if navigating a passage. I assume it is formed by a crack and the ice either side has shifted up and down pushing up some snow. I could hear the ice booming now and again as it moved in the wind - a little disconcerting, but I was safely on land.

A line can be there to follow, or a border, a marker, a partition, encompassing, excluding, surrounding, never ending.

Extra: Moonraker.
