Green grass darter

This little butterfly lives in eastern and south eastern Australia. I don't know what it was hoping to get from this dead geranium flower but I was pleased it posed for me.

The extra is a very tiny hover fly, about 7mm in the body, who wouldn't keep its wings still as it sat on the end of an orchid petal.
