Aethon ni am dro i lawr i'r gored ar Landaf ac yn rownd i'r Eglwys Newydd i gael diod a chacen.  Ar y ffordd stopion ni ar y gored i wylio'r dŵr yn rhuthro i lawr. Yn isod i'r gored mai ynysoedd bach. Maen nhw’n isel, a phan mae'r afon yn uchel maen nhw'n diflannu o dan y dŵr.  Ar un ohonyn nhw mae strwythur carreg ac mae'n ychydig yn ddirgel.  Beth oedd e - beth oedd y pwrpas?  Dyn ni ddim yn gwybod.


Gwelon ni fe blynyddoedd yn ôl (Hoffwn pe bawn wedi tynnu llun bryd hynny) ond y tro nesaf yr ymwelon ni, nid allem ei weld - dim ond pentyrrau o gerrig. Dyn ni ddim yn gwybod os roedden ni'n edrych yn y lle anghywir, neu os oedd y strwythur o dan y dŵr, neu rywbeth ond roedd e'n rhyfedd iawn. Nawr mae ffotograff gyda ni i brofi roedd e yno a hoffwn ni gwybod mwy am y lle.

We went for a walk down to the weir on Llandaff and round to Whitchurch for a drink and cake. On the way we stopped at the weir to watch the water rush down. Below the weir are small islands. They are low, and when the river is high they disappear underwater. One of them has a stone structure and it is a bit mysterious. What was it - what was it for? We do not know.

We saw it years ago (I wish I had taken a picture then) but the next time we visited we couldn't see it - just piles of stone. We don't know if we were looking in the wrong place, or if the structure was underwater, or something but it was very strange. Now we have a photo to prove he was there and we want to know more about the place.
