Magpie

I’d resorted to the shell collection but none appealed so it’s a magpie. I heard the scrabbling on a roof, then it hopped down closer.

In other news, the baby noisy miner from three weeks ago has been released. He or she is strong and healthy and a quarter the size, but will see off a magpie.
