Low Brandelhow

Please view Large on Black

We originally planned to knock off another couple of Wainwright's today, but the forecast was for high winds and rain. We limited ourselves to a walk along Catbells Terrace, and back along the shore.  It didn't rain, but the winds were certainly gusty, and after the rains we've had recently, many areas were flooded. Any Wainwright's we may have planned would almost certainly be extremely boggy.

I don't often use overhanging trees,  but liked the contrast between the almost monochrome landscape, and the moss-covered rock that my camera - mounted on a Platypod - is resting.
