The sky really was that blue for a short time while behind were looming dark rain clouds although fortunately most of the heavy showers missed us.  Everywhere there are still signs of fallen branches and trees, however those which had obstructed roads have been cleared but the two storms forecast in the next three days will be worrying many people.
