Turkey in the Mist

I couldn't resist this title, even though the Brush-turkey is away in the distance. We spent the last morning of our road trip in the impressive North Coast Regional Botanic Garden in Coffs Harbour. Its sub-tropical climate allows them to grow lots of interesting plants that are not seen in the cooler parts of Australia. Such as Shower of Orchids Vine, Congea tomentosa, shown in the extras. Its place of origin is eastern India to Vietnam. Here it is growing vigorously over 2 pergolas. The dangling flower sprays seem to prefer the shade rather than the sun.
