Cat flap

Woke up this morning to find the flap from the cat flap on the floor - it had come off either from the violence of my neurotic cat or a hopeful intruder. So house open to any creature able to get through! I tried mending it in poor light and failed. So closed the room off with cat in it forlornly sitting by the hole hoping her presence would act as a deterrent! It certainly does for me! I had another try later in the morning and managed to fix it and clean it. Didn’t notice how dirty it was until I got down next to it.
