External drive, built-in obsolescence

It's odd, remembering when CDs and DVDs were all shiny new technology. 

Now, of course, they're shiny old technology. So it's not surprising that my slimline new laptop doesn't have a built-in drive.

So I got myself this thing. And once I've used it to load a few programmes and import some files to store elsewhere, I'll probably never use it again.
