The Square

I don't know exactly how many new houses have been built in and around Harborough in the last ten years or so - probably somewhere between 8 and 15 thousand. With every house, of course, come two or three cars. So it's hard to still describe Market Harborough as a "quiet' country town any longer.

However, I still enjoy walking into town and it's pleasant enough in the centre on a quieter day, like today. This is a photo from the middle of 'The Square' with the old Peacock Inn in the middle background, now a pizza restaurant.
