The Calm before the Storm!

Spotted this tiny glimpse of pink sunshine early this morning. About the only splash of blue here today.
Chloe got her usual walk at the Kelpies; it was rather breezy but at least it stayed dry for us. 
We stayed in for most of the day as the storm blew up bringing some pretty heavy rain. 
Mid afternoon and we collected E&E from school. The school bell went off at three and at the same moment, the full weight of Dudley hit, horizontal rain and falling branches. The car was hit but fortunately it was just a glorified twig. 
It’s going to be an “interesting “ night!
