Just watched a lecture on line by the photographer Marc Wilson about his latest work.

I've known about this book for sometime before it actually came into being, having followed Marc's work previously. I donated to help make it happen...which is a wonderful way for books and projects to become real these days.

It's 320 images and 22 stories, and he said that the images are almost secondary to the story, but they guide the stories.

Books like this capture those stories that soon can no longer be told. It's a hard read for sure, but one that we all should do.
