Worcester

We went to Worcester to see Emma and Rafferty this morning.   Storm Dudley hadn't quite reached us then, it arrived with strong winds later this afternoon.   We had a good time amusing, and being amused, with Raffy then we all went out for a walk ending up in Fred's a coffee shop on The Tything where we braved an inside table, albeit right next to the open front door of the cafe.  Raffy was very good.

When we arrived back home I made a pearl barley risotto. I think it adds a little more to the dish than using risotto rice. We had it for tea.

The photo is a mural painted on an end house near the railway arches in Worcester.  I'm not sure if it fits the theme, a local place, but it is certainly wide enough to warrant a Wide Wednesday tag, today hosted by BobsBlips.
