Bands of blue

A good long walk over to Sandwick  took care of my 10,000 steps today!  

Flat calm and dry. It was chilly when we set off but on the way back I had to cast off my gloves and hat and unzip my jacket! The sun was a pale, watery thing but there was certainly enough blue sky for a Dutchman's trousers! 

I love the way this tree has been sculpted by the wind over the years.
