Storm Dudley

As the winds gathered speed and the rain got heavier we thought we might be in for an exciting afternoon. Storm Dudley was certainly a sight to behold as it came in from the west and moved quickly east leaving a few puddles in the fields in its wake.
I am pleased to report no damage to our home. Once Dudley had passed us by, the sun very quickly made an appearance and peace reigned again.

This morning we had an unexpected hailstone shower. The sun is out again and I’ve had to adjust the blinds in my office to deflect its warmth - I could easily get sunburned!

We are going for a walk into the village this afternoon. I am looking forward to Eunice tomorrow as it’s bringing snow….I can’t wait.
