The milk bottle on milk bottle corner was looking very top of the morning today thanks to the blue sky- see EXTRA.
The famous Paignton landmark was toppled in a car crash last year but has been put back in place by builders who repaired the wall. As a final touch a new Cecil Road sign was created by the contractors to replace the one destroyed in the crash. It  has a little cartoon milk bottle on it. Inevitably, Torbay Council cannot allow the sign to remain. Due to highways regulations they are unable to permit non standard symbols on  their highway signage. It is very subtle, and a nice idea, but I can understand the official view as well. It would be quirky but a much more interesting world though.
