The Berber Shop is up for sale

Yes, after 20 years in UK, Aziz is taking the plunge, selling his business and retiring to Morocco. Or so he says. We shall miss him.

It was a wonderfully sunny morning in Loughborough and balmy in the sun. We sat outside Caffè Nero to watch the world go by.

The market was much truncated in anticipation of Storm Eunice tomorrow. A red warning and danger of flying debris but today was idyllic.

The council had decreed that no stalls would be erected today because of the dangers of wind following Storm Dudley yesterday. Fortunately, the food stalls continued to trade. We bought fruit and vegetable and fish. Cheese and Nibbles was there as was Belvoir Bakery.
