On the bridge downstream from Stock Ghyll waterfalls.



The day started dry and bright. The snow warning had been cancelled.

Anticipating rain and strong winds I decided on an early shop in Windermere. There was a heavy shower on the way home so I didn’t stop for a Waterhead blip. After lunch I wandered into Stock Ghyll woods via Tesco to buy the carrots I forgot at Booths. I also bought a Lindt chocolate bar to help me up the hill :)
