Above And Beyond...

The Guardian

1 Year 334 days of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First UK/World Vaccine 1yr 72 days ago.  Minor UK restrictions.

Storm Eunice has been the news this past day with record wind speeds in the UK: I travelled to Abertillery (South Wales UK) to buy some garden items and my car was being blown about. The garden centre was shut but next door is The Guardian of The Valleys, a statue to commemorate the 1960 Six Bells mining disaster where 45 men were killed in an explosion. It's slightly taller than the Angel of the North but because of it's out of the way location doesn't get the attention it deserves.

It's the son in law's 40th so we're just off out to celebrate. Wish I was that age again!
