Beautiful day

We drove down the Clyde valley today to buy meat from one of the farm shops.  It's more expensive than supermarket meat, but at least I know where it is being reared and it is only a twenty minute drive, so low carbon footprint too. There is beautiful scenery all around and although it was bitterly cold and windy, there was no rain.  At 600feet above sea level, my home town had a good fall of snow overnight, but there was none here on the valley floor.
