Decayed beauty

No need to go out today so it was a few things to do around home.
My son alerted me to the Big Jet TV YouTube channel mid morning so I ended up watching the pilots earning their corn landing their aircraft at Heathrow. Fascinating and at the same time rather worrying watching increasing numbers of planes doing a go-around. Some for two and three times. Not a day to be a passenger, but full respect for those men and women sat up front of these planes.

This is the final throws of a rose that was in the birthday basket of flowers for my wife's birthday two weeks ago.
