Bit of a Disaster

I had to take come images of our books this morning.  A book conservator is coming to see us tomorrow to talk about repairing, and certainly stabilising some of our very precious collection.  

Financially they not worth very much, but in terms of nostalgia they are worth a great deal to the Victorian history of Old Government House.

I've discovered that my phone has an automatic "night vision" setting.  The Dining Room where these books are stored is very dark, but you wouldn't think so by the way this photo is lit.
