Eunice’s legacy

Rushed out this morning for bread, hoping to get back before further rain and wind (was forecast around 11am). Walked to Boscombe along the back streets as more sheltered.

We saw more of the effects of the storm on the way. Debris and small/large branches - lying everywhere. Blip taken in Boscombe’s pedestrianised shopping area where homeless bedding had been scattered by the wind (pillow in pic).

Had a Greggs vegan sausage roll….becoming a bad habit. A welcome snip at £1. Embarrassingly ate it on the street.

Felt a drop of rain, so hopped on a bus back. Just in time as the heavens opened. Otherwise as yesterday the sun came out p.m.

Seems we are on a yellow alert till Monday afternoon.
