Clouds of ice

Hoar frost on a pylon. I lobe the shapes of the ice crystals and I've always been fascinated how it's possible that such thick plates of ice can build up just from wind activity.
The cauliflower look, also found in clouds, shows how fractal geometry appears over and over again in nature..
