Early Snow

It began around 10 am.   Although it was forecast, it arrived suddenly with large flakes and continued until early afternoon when the clouds lifted, blue sky appeared along with the sun.   The 'gritter' has just driven past, as I type this, but if the forecasted rain arrives tomorrow all the snow will have disappeared.   We shall see.
