Mary Shaw's House

I've often planned to blip this well known house in the valley. The last time I did a drive by shooting of it there was a horse grazing between the gate and front door. Unfortunately not today but the light was nice.

Officially it is called "Eumemmering" but everyone knows it as Mary Shaw's house although she left about 15 years ago and has since died.
Mr isbi used to do house calls there and it would have qualified for Derelict Sunday back then but apparently it has been renovated inside since. It is one of the last pise cottages existing in the valley and is listed on the heritage register.
Incidentally, Mary was the great granddaughter of Mark Foy who built the rather more palatial Hydro Majestic Hotel on the cliffs above at Medlow Bath.

There were actually enough vegetables from our garden to call and give some to Wally on the way home.
It was a lovely evening and we ended up staying for a glass on red on his verandah with the the wonderful view of the valley until 8:30pm. It's so nice being able to socialize again.
