Grey Squirrel in the Sun

Our Frenchies alerted me to a squirrel's presence.
The squirrel knows the drill that goes with the flurry of whines and excited dog voices as the back door opens.
This fellow simply sat still knowing he was invisible to the dogs who were confounded by his lack of movement.
I snapped several photos as I while the Frenchies watched me slowly approach the squirrel's location.
Suddenly they realized where my attention was focused... and the chase was on!
