Crossing the Hawea River

Today the walking group parked at Albert Town, walked over this swing bridge and down the Hawea River until it met the Clutha River.  This is where a couple of us had our lunch.  The Hawea River is to the right, the Clutha River to the left.  Extra 1 is the view from our lunch spot.  Extra 2 is a man fishing in the river.  He never caught anything while we were watching.

Many thanks for your birthday wishes yesterday.  I had the most wonderful day, enjoying company with family and friends.  Some of you have guessed correctly, my 3650th blip is still a few days away, Friday in fact.  I will try to think of something special between now and them.

No Olympics, so won't be watching TV this afternoon.  NZ had a total tally of 2 golds, and 1 silver.  The best Winter Olympics ever.
