A Quiet Day in Houton

The MV Thursvo glides into Houton Bay.  The astute amongst you will note that Sandy’s boat is still tied up at the pier. Novices will potentially not note that Alfie’s van is untaxed.  The spurious colouring indicates that this is taken from the inside of my s-i-l’s living room – I was in past (in her absence to save her hearing any industrial language) to install her linked smoke alarms.

Last week, someone who needs to get a grip, requested another dance pic.  The extra, I think, shows an attempt at the Earl of Mansfield without using a safety net.  Other dances today were: Gang the Same Gate, Ian Powrie’s Farewell to Auchterarder, Kelpie of Loch Coruisk, and others before I lost consciousness.  The alternative is a puzzler for Leonard Cohen (if he’s still tuned in).

Margaret Drabble is 82, it is not recorded whether she plays Scrabble.
