Skimming the Water

I have a busy week ahead that includes a lot of babysitting, so I knew this would be the only morning I could count on getting out by myself.  The combination of lovely weather and a holiday meant it could get crowded, and it certainly did.  At a certain point I felt that I had had enough of trying to avoid people on the boardwalk, so I headed home.  The Hooded Mergansers were attracting the most attention of the photographers, especially when they took flight.
