Scarlet Cup

After 4 days lounging around the house due to the weather and laziness,  apart from shopping, I really needed a trip out for a walk and some fresh air, so headed over to a fairly local nature reserve, Moor Green Lakes, developed on old gravel pits alongside the River Blackwater.

As I wandered along the rather muddy paths round the lakes I saw flashes of colour. Most seemed to be balls in various states of decay, presumably abandoned by dogs, plus the inevitable rubbish though the area was remarkedly free of litter (for a change).  However, one turned out to be a small clump of what I later found out to be Scarlet Elf Cup. A lovely find and just the job for Tiny Tuesday.
