Memorial Tablet in Gt. Livermere Church

He is better known as M. R. James. In recent years we have enjoyed super performances of a number of his ghost stories by R. M. Lloyd Parry on spooky winter evenings in a hall in our village.

We were on a walk and visited this church. We later ended up for lunch in the pub at Ingham, just north of Bury St Edmunds. There was another lovely tree-carving outside (see blips of a few days ago). See Extra photo.
