Good Morning Mrs Blackbird

When i stopped at a truckstop this morning all the birds seemed to look so cold. Most were behind something staying out of the wind. Grateful I was able to give them a handful of sunflower seeds - they sure ate them quickly. Roads were mostly fine and just a few interesting places... The next few mornings could be interesting but...

Stopped by the birder candy store and they finally had a heater for the hummingbird feeder - hopefully it works well. Seems the neighbors feeders are frozen again - as I counted a dozen birds tonight. Tomorrow I will be wearing my thermals to work... Getting to darn cold out there..

A long boring day at work tomorrow...
