Bassenthwaite Lake.

This is the only 'lake' in the Lake District as it is the only one with lake in its name.  I intended to photo snowdrops, but as you can see the weather wasn't promising so here is my long exposure of Bassenthwaite Lake.  The water level is higher than usual after the storms.  The tree and reeds are actually in water, which isn't normal.  Surely after all the rain there will be a day with sunshine!  The extra is looking towards the A66 taken between groups of traffic!
