South Coast Scribblings

Discovery

I hadn't been out in the garden recently, but had a wander round today clearing up a few flowers that had been broken by the lattice top of a fence falling on them in Storm Eunice.  In the left hand flower bed I found these crocuses.  We will need to move them I think as they are entangled with a fuschia.

When we had our grocery delivery this morning the van had to park further along the road.  This is because half the road is blocked by fencing as fibre cabling is being put in.  We feel at home seeing a digger outside the house as we saw such a lot at the housing development at the rear of our last house!

It was a lovely sunny morning, but has clouded over now.  I'm adding an extra photo of a bumble bee on the heather.  The daffodils are beginning to bloom too.
