No snow after all

My grocery  day is Tuesday, but since there was a forecast of at least two feet of snow for that day, I called my grocer on Monday. "Naah", she said. "The delivery is in the afternoon, so the storm is over by then and the roads will also be cleared." Well, she was right. There was about one inch of snow and no problem with driving. 
She has lived here all her life, and knows that the clouds often sail past this area. That means no rain in the summer and no snow for skiing in the winter, but that is just right for ordinary life. :-))
