Still looking good

Horrendous weather today …… wind so strong that it nearly took my car door off and so much rain that I now have a huge puddle outside my front door.

We managed our Wednesday morning badminton and then it was home to batten down the hatches.  No possibility of an outside blip today and after trying think of something to photograph I realised that I was sitting staring at my wee poinsettia that I bought at the beginning of December and it still looks as good as it did when I bought it.

I’m sure the leaves will start falling soon but until that day comes I’ll just enjoy it.

Things are not looking any better for tomorrow so perhaps I’ll just stay in bed  and read my book!
