Log Staging Station Eugene, Oregon

My bicycle ride today under beautiful blue skies was a bit chilly due to a strong north wind blowing.
Not many critters sunning themselves, but the Canada Geese were on the move with a flock of a smaller and darker color birds than I am used to seeing.
The log staging area was very busy loading railcars with newly cut logs with snow covered Mount Bachelor and South Sister Mountain for a backdrop..
I was happy to be out on my recumbent bike that I've not ridden for several months, but happier still to arrive home to warm my hands on a cup of hot chocolate.
