Sheep of Stoneness

I mean Stones of Sheepness, I mean sheep at the Stones of Stenness, which might be the oldest stone circle in Britain and Ireland. A walk along the shore of the Loch of Stenness hoping for otters but no luck. Very windy, so it was nice to use the bird-hide at Barnshouse, overlooking the Loch of Harray, to sit and have coffee. While there, a very heavy hail-shower passed through (extra). The birds, mute swans, wigeon etc really didn't seem to enjoy being under the ratatatat of the hail.
