Netting a blip

Can't get enough of these piles of fishing paraphernalia drying by the harbour after the morning catch. Fish is a big part of the local cuisine, and el rey, Juan Carlos, is known to visit the island specially to sample the lobster stew.

The other day I saw a fish tank crammed full of live langostas in a supermarket. This, along with a meat counter which offered skinned rabbits (complete with tail, ears, feet, everything but skin) persuaded me to give any food with a face a miss for the time being.

The other type of net has behaved enough to let me post each day and look at some of your blips - apologies if I haven't managed to comment as much as usual. Normal service will be resumed on Friday (don't want to go back to all that nasty weather...)
