York railway museum

Today D and I explored the railway museum. T had some work to do, so stayed in the flat.

The museum is huge, with a nice selection of old and new, containing various royal carriages as well as a Japanese bullet train.

It snowed! D was not impressed! Having just left copious amounts of the stuff in Iceland.

Then back to the flat, with a stop at Betty's tearoom, an institution in York, to get some treats to take back with us. Including the local custard tart and some of the delightfully named 'fat rascals'!
