Lower drawbridge

Went down to Ocean Terminal which is becoming increasingly hard to access due to all the tramworkings. Still, popped into the Wee Museum of Memory and had a look at the photo display - some splendid ones I'd never seen before. Leith Airport! (Seaplanes only, mind -  but it was an official airport from around 1950 and for a while there was a regular flight to Southampton, costing £9 and taking two hours. Stopped due to lack of demand.....)

And this amazing thing - a little drawbridge, downstream from the Bernard St bridge, so sited just beyond the rust bucket in my linked blip. Apparently there was a little railway line that ran across it from Timberbush and behind the Custom House.
