Allt Sheneval

Long day and I'm quite tired and here I am blipping before I have even reviewed today's data.

Anyway, this is the Allt Sheneval which tumbles out of the hilly area known as Balmacaan Forest. A forest in this context does not refer to woodland as this forest is of the deer variety. Balmacaan Forest is an elevated area of rough and generally treeless wilderness.

"Sheneval"; I have anglocisised myself here tonight; but it is a place name that always registers in my mind. It is the name of a very useful mountain bothy on the border of Fisherfield and Dundonmell forest in Wester Ross. I was grateful to shelter there after my most exhausting day of hill walking ever.
