In Pole Position...

...at least Tim hoped so. Last year the Blue Tits had won the annual Race the Canes in the gardens race. In fact, they had won for the last seven years, due to just how quick they were.

But Tim had been training hard, like his fellow team members, and they were very confident of beating them this year. It was like a relay race, at each cane a team member waited for what was a big seed to be passed on.

It happened fast, but they were well drilled, and had practised it repeatedly....

You'll be glad to know they won, narrowly ;-)
