Holiday

Inn.

We are spending the night in Chester again, but in much less luxurious surroundings than last time!

We’ve both agreed that even just one night away seems to help recharge our batteries, so we have vowed to make this a regular occurrence; especially once I’m working full time again.
Mr A has some busy weekends starting from April, so he’s said any free weekends will be spent somewhere else to give us both a change of scenery and quality time together.

We managed to get the pool all to ourselves earlier, it was just a pity that the jacuzzi was out of order as we’d both been looking forward to a soak.

The hotel isn’t far from Chester centre, but we opted to dine here tonight and have an evening chilling in our room. The food was actually really nice; mine was half price because I sent the first one back as the plate was warmer than the food!

Tomorrow, we head a few miles down the road to Mold, to meet up with Mr A’s family for a belated 40th/70th meal. Due to covid, both Laura and Mama A missed out on being able to celebrate their milestone birthdays last year, so we are doing it now! :-)
